Quality Assurance

Do you think you have what it takes to help test new features? We're looking for people to join us! Assignments will include testing super secret additions and element changes. Please note that our sponsors at ACME Bending HQ are not responsible for any damages caused in testing.

Our Goals

To ensure a seamless transition for all users throughout any updates and maintain high quality standards for bending changes and pushing dungeons. The team primarily focuses on giving feedback on changes proposed by game designers and developers, whether in a conceptual stage or prototyping stage.

Requirements

  • Lively interest in both Avatar and Minecraft.
  • Ability to work well in team environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, frequently, and in a friendly manner with your team through Discord.
  • Weekly activity on the server.
  • Extensive knowledge of all or most of the server mechanics available on the live server.

Pluses

  • Past experience troubleshooting or bug testing.
  • Having a strong record in our #bug-reports channel on Discord (or internally for our other team members). In your bug reports, we want to see documentation of reproduction cycles so our developers can find out why something could be happening.

How to Apply

If you're interested, send an email over to qa@avatarmc.com for us to review, including the following:

  • Your in-game name
  • Your time-zone
  • Your Discord ID
  • If applicable, any links to your bug reports in #bug-report (or internally for our other team members)
  • A letter of motivation that should include why you want to join the team, what you expect of the project and why you think you are of value to the team.

As soon as we've read through and discussed your application, we'll be in touch.
